1. 1. In what ways does your media product use, develop
or challenge forms and conventions of real media
products?
2. The front cover would have to include images to draw readers in
and a masthead so people know what the magazine is called. They
would also include coverlines and puffs. A typical contents page
would include a few images and would show what page different
features are on. The double page spread would generally include
either an interview with an artist or producer. The interview would
be mainly to promote a single or album to make the public aware of
them. It would also include a picture or two to break up the text.
3. My contents page and double page should also link to the front cover by
showing house style and brand identity. For my front cover I linked it to my
target audience by the colours and pictures I have used. I have also included
two pugs which should readers in. My contents page continues with the
house style with the colours and pictures I have used. I have also inserted
different titles for the features e.g. Reviews, posters and features. My double
page spread links to the target audience again by the colours and picture
used. It included an interview but to break up all the chunks of text I included
a factual section.
