Objective
I am looking to obtain an Administrator position within a Community utilizing past experience and skills adding
efficiency and organization to a medical practice.
Experience
Summit Cardiology, LLC Practice Administrator April 2006-Present
 Oversee accuracy of registration, insuranceverification and precertification by support staff
 Responsible for transmission of all charges
 Responsible for correction of all denials and rejections
 In conjunction with the Provider, develop an annual budget
 Prepare and review monthly receivable and payable reports
 Manage employee recruitment and retention, employee relations and all other personnel actions. Hire, train,
educate and discipline support staff
 Responsible for maintaining support staff PTO
 Supervise daily activities of front and back office; including responsibilities for continuous operational
improvement
 Prepare, coordinate and distribute monthly provider calendar
 Implementation of office policies and procedures
 Plans, organizes and leads staff meetings as needed
 Oversee a staff of 6 employees and 1 physician
 Successful research and implementation of EMR and PMS
 Attained meaningful use 4 years consecutively
 Prepare and authorize all payroll changes and payments
 Coordinate with TPA all necessary accounting calculations for pension plan
 Year end reporting, collection and preparing of necessary tax documentation
 Orchestrated hospital merger with testing portion of practice

I am proficient with MAC and PC, Quickbooks, Excel, Microsoft and EMR.
At this stage in my career, I am very willing and eager to learn new skills. I enjoy working with people and dealing with
a patient base and management. I feel I can connect to any demographic without judgment.
