Objective
To obtain a position in nursing leadership and management, where my three years of
management experience and twenty years of nursing experience can be utilized. I am
experienced in all aspects of nursing and able to work well with all levels of personnel and

Provide direct supervisory leadership and serve as a key member of the Nursing Leadership
team. Lead a cohort of 15 staff members and participate in overall management of a
cardiovascular surgical stepdown unit comprised of twenty beds and 45 employees. Responsible
for development of clinical practice, and provision of patient care with accountabilities for
implementation and outcomes for people, leadership, quality service, compliance, finance,
throughput and scheduling. Ensure the unit’s optimal performance by engaging in effective
problem solving for staff, patients and families and to develop/lead the assigned cohort. Provide
