2. Trailer Locations
For the film trailer we have two main locations are choosing between, whereby the majority of the filming will take place.
Furthermore, some of the shots will take place within a car, as well as in a car park.
Little Britain Lake:
We believed that shooting our trailer here would be really beneficial as the location itself at nighttime is quite daunting. This
would help to set the scene and build that bases of a creepy location, creating tension and fear for the audience.
Unlike Ruislip Lido, Little Britain is a lot less reserved, and attracts a significantly lot less amount of people. This is useful to us as
it would help it look like the characters are in a remote location and are somewhat isolated with no help in sight. Additionally
meaning that there will be little disruptions with our filming schedule.
As we are inspired by the film ‘Friday the 13th’ which is also set in a wood like location, we wanted our location to be similar. It
leaves little place for the victims to escape, as it is so big they could continuously get lost. Additionally to this, is leaves more
places for the antagonist to hide, as well as fewer people to hear them screaming for help.
Ruislip Lido:
Ruislip lido is very similar to Little Britain Lake, and we would decide to film here for all the same reasons. However, we believe
that the lido is a more crowded location. Also, because of the beach area, it looks like it is more of a densely populated area and
less remote, giving the audience prosperity that the victims will escape and survive.

4. The carpark will be present both at the beginning of the trailer, when they are
getting out of the car. But also at the end when the final girl is trying to escape.
However, no lighting will be available, adding to the emphasis to audience as to
whether she survives or not.
5. Poster Location
For the location of my poster image, it will be in
the woodland area of where the trailer is going
to be filmed. I decided this by looking at real,
existing media whereby this is conventional,
such as Friday the 13th. By doing this, it will
give the audience an insight to the film and give
away potential clues such as location. It will
also create a symbiotic link between the poster
and the trailer, allowing the audience to connect
with them more. The image will be taken in the
evening, so it is dark outside. We will potentially
bring torches with us, to make the antagonist of
our film more visible.
6. Magazine Front Cover Location
The magazine image is going to be taken in front of a white screen within
our media classroom at school. This was decided because, it would be easier
to edit it on photoshop as well as make important features on the front cover
remain visible such as sell lines which help to overall successfulness of a
front cover. Furthermore it would give the magazine a more professional
look. However, it would be more effective if the image had a slight woodland
area behind it, creating a symbiotic link between the three pieces in my
promotional package. Therefore it may be worthwhile taking additional
images in a woodland area, just incase I change my mind.
