is slippery, frightening, slimy,
slivering around people and
dishonest. Like the garden of
Eden
⢠Connotation
- A snake represents evil and, danger. This is
because of the historical meaning

represents a place. The

sentimental to the place

piece off metal really far
⢠Connotation

5. This movie cover (the 2017 movie IT),
is obviously a horror because of the
dark colours all around the image.
The blackness represents the main
villain because black is normally
associated with death, evil and
power. Also there is a red balloon all
surrounded by darkness. This means
there is danger because red is
associated with danger, blood and
strength. The little boy in the yellow
coat seems innocent because yellow
is associated with freshness,
happiness, positivity, clarity, energy,
optimism, enlightenment,
remembrance, intellect, honor,
loyalty, and joy. The little boy is
obviously in danger. The boy is been
given a balloon which is bad because
kids loves balloons and the other
person is obviously dangerous. The
clown is in the darkness because he is
trying to hide his identity where as
the boy is in the light. There is a big
contrast between the light and the
dark in this poster.
6. The colours in this are grey and dull
around the middle but, there is a vignette
which makes the poster a bit more dark all
around. The darkness represents power
which is understandable because the person
is sat on âThe Iron throneâ which is quite
menacing because is is made of swords
This character looks like he is from the
medieval era because he is wearing full
leather. The sword represents power. The
person is is slouched over the sword tho and
doesnât look ready to fight anyone. There is
also a black raven that represents death
so this could be hinting to someone or him
dying in the near future.
7. The colours are really bright and
natural which can mean it is a happy
place, which puts it into the comedy
genre. There is also paper in the
poster which is literally natural. The
characters in this are wearing formal
clothes but there not really formal.
It looks like they are in work clothes
which means it could be set in a
work place environment. The front
character looks like he is in
charge/the main protagonist, this is
because he is in front which gives
him a higher status. It also looks like
the 2 to the left and right of him
look important. They could be his
wingman. It looks like they are really
serious, with their facial expressions,
but at the same time you can tell
they are not being serious, which
gives us a comedy effect to it.
