Working Title:
What is it called?
Skate Project
Product’s Purpose:
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
To entertain, educate and for experience for me.
Genre:
What sort of product is it
A skate brand
Content
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
My brand is going to have, a Skate promo, which is to promote the brand with some good, well
edited videos and skate tricks. We also have branded skateboards, this is also to promote our
brand and to give people a chance to ride one of our decks. We are also making a magazine so
we can share all of the tricks that our sponsors have landed.
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
My target audience is 12 – 21, this is because not many adults skate and we are trying to get more
people into skating. It’s a unisex company because I do not think we should focus on one gender
because it is unfair to girl skaters; same goes for ethnicity. The products are going to be fairly
cheap so social status won’t really matter.
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include?
I am not going to add any offensive material.
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
No because all of my products are PG.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
No because we accept all ethnicities, no matter what.
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Not focus in on their ethnicities, gender or race.
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Yes I am going to be using the name and picture of a famous skateboarder, ‘Aaron ‘Jaws’ Homoki’
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for
copyright infringement?
Yes because nothing is really the same as other companies.
