Working Title: Pixelated Arcade Game
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: The purpose of my product is for people’s entertainment.
The game I am going to make will be to let people have fun and to enjoy their
spare time. There will be different tasks and quests for them to complete which
should stop them getting as bored. The thing I am trying to achieve with this is to
make the game quite easy as you will only have to collect a star on each level but
still keep it fun and challenging on every level you progress thorough the game.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: Arcade
What sort of product is it
Content: My Arcade game will be about collecting three stars on each level and
as you move up to higher levels it will be harder. I have chosen to do a game
where you need to collect things because it is fun and also something any age
group can do, and it is still fun for them. Then the other reason I have decided to
do a game where you collect things because it not the hardest thing as I said it
before, but it could still be made challenging, this makes it suitable for all the
group ages.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Audience: My product is available for any age and also to any gender as well.
The reason behind this is to get every gamer involved.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations: I will not include any offensive language or any
event in the my game. Therefore, its still suitable for any age. I will make sure that
I don’t offend anyone, the way I going to do that is by not using any aggressive
things in it, such as killing, swearing or any other +18 things.
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
