They have made the
masthead a simple font
and colour.
The colours all match each
other to make it look really
professional.
They have said “Social Media” in
the sub-title to make it say
“social media success”. This is to
make the people think that your
going to be successful.
The writing on the left side
blends in with the woman and
persuades the reader to buy
the magazine.
Existing Product
The masthead is funky
because it is different
colors, different font size
and a weird font.
The colours are all matching
and it doesn't look like
anything is stood out.
They have put a barcode in
the bottom left of the
screen, they have also put
the price on the barcode.
The layout is like a maze with
pictures and words. It is a
complex layout which is not
good for mine because it is a
news type magazine.
Existing Product
The masthead is made out to
be like the YouTube logo as it is
a YouTube based media mag.
The sub heading is fairly big and
noticeable by the customers. It also is a
# so people can interact with the # on
social medias, which the magazine is
based on.
They have put pictures of famous
media stars. This is so if someone
notices a face they will buy the
mag.
The magazine is
advertising clothes
which are sponsored
by other brands

– The second 2 are really crowded and colourful. It
seems like they are made for children.

– I will include the colourfulness and the overcrowded
magazine cover.
– I will include familiar faces of people so more people
