Puppetry); Malaysia (modern batik, wau, and objects made from pewter); Thailand (silk fabrics and
LoyKrathong Lantern Festival); Cambodia (Angkor Wat and ancient temples) Singapore (Merlion), etc. (A8EL-

Southeast Asian countries as having a rich artistic and cultural tradition from prehistoric to present times B. Identify characteristics of arts and crafts in specific countries in Southeast Asia: Indonesia (batik, Wayang Puppetry); Malaysia (modern batik, wau, and objects made from pewter); Thailand (silk fabrics and LoyKrathong Lantern Festival); Cambodia (Angkor Wat and ancient temples) Singapore (Merlion), etc. (A8EL- Ia-2) CONTENT Elements and Principles of Arts and Crafts in Southeast Asia I.
