3. Location
The location of the film is in a suburban area. This
location links to the majority of our target audience as
they might live in an area that is similar to the location
the film is set in. This would immediately help the
target audience become more immersed into the film
and eventually get more interested in it because of
this.
4. Real Life Issues
The story of the protagonist of the story is that he may
have an uncontrollable mental problem which makes
him feel like an outsider. This links to real life as there
are many people suffering from a mental problem who
may enjoy seeing the protagonist of our story
overcoming his and fitting into the society easier.
5. Typography
Our typography is a very normal but bold format. This
type of typography is commonly used in other thriller
films like ours. This typography would help the target
audience know it is a thriller which may make them
become more curious for the rest of our movie. The
boldness and simplicity of the typography is generally
what males tend to prefer in a movie as it means there
may be more edge or seriousness to the movie which is
what men usually generally prefer.
6. Mise en Scene
The main feature of Mise en scene of our film is the
characters clothes. We used this to target our target
audience by having clothes an average teenager might
wear. This might help the viewers begin to view the
character as more of an equal. The protagonist wears
light clothes whereas the antagonist wears the darker
ones. The dark clothes would show our audience who
the evil one is. Another form of Mise en scene we used
was our choice in colour. Men usually seek action or
danger and we used the colour red to signify this.
