2. My 3 favorite
class
assignments.
• Community Service Assignment – I enjoyed this assignment because it made
me feel good about what I did. Never before have I ever really even considered
volunteering. After this assignment I now have interest in doing it again
• Self-AssessmentTest –This assignment was fun to me because I got to know a
little more about myself. I love taking small quizzes to see what jobs I would be
good at, personality test, etc. so this was right up my alley. Learning strengths
and weaknesses is always something beneficial.
• Inceptia Financial Avenue –This assignment was important to me because it
have useful information on how to prepare for your future regarding money.
Lots of things on the slideshows for this assignment I did not know about. I think
preparing for the future is what of the most important things that people forget
to do sometimes.
3. My 3 favorite
Journals
• Chapter 3 Journal 11 (Visualizing biggest goal) –This assignment was very
inspiring. Being able to relax and imagine one of your biggest goals being
accomplished is motivating. I honestly thought this assignment wasn’t going
to be useful for anything, but I’m happy to say that I was wrong.
• Chapter 8 Journal 29 (Writing about angry, sad, or anxious times) –This
assignment is the one that really made me realize that something good can
come out of something bad.You learn lessons from the bad things that
happen in life, and you learn from them.Writing about these experiences
made me feel like I could remember exactly what was going through my mind
during those times.
• Chapter 9 Journal 32 (Comparing Self-Assessment scores) – I enjoyed taking
the test again and seeing if my scores went up or down. They mostly went up,
but 1 score went down. But like it was said on that assignment, but because
the score was less, it could just be that I was being more honest about my
answers.
4. What module I
liked the most
• The module I liked the most was honestly module 1. It had some of my
favorite assignments in it like the scavenger hunt, self assessment test,
how the brain works video. I’ve been going to Grayson for 4 semesters now
and didn’t know half of the stuff that the scavenger hunt taught me.
5. 3 lessons I will
carry with me
to the next
class
• To try and not listen to my Inner Critic as much, and be so hard on myself.
Everything can’t be perfect.
• To always work on yourself. You’re never going to be perfect so there is
always room for improvement.
• Study smarter, not longer.
6. My growth in personal responsibility has improved overall
throughout this semester. Acknowledging that it is my fault and
nobody else’s if I make a bad grade. Personal responsibility is all
about growing up and maturing.
• Accepting personal responsibility – (Before:64)(After:65)
• Discovering self-motivation – (Before:67)(After:67)
• Mastering self-management – (Before:54)(After:58)
• Employing interdependence – (Before:33)(After:40)
• Gaining self-awareness – (Before:52)(After:50)
• Adopting life-long learning – (Before:53)(After:60)
• Developing emotional intelligence – (Before:43)(After:45)
