Role:
• Reports directly to Project Quality Manager (PQM) and functionally to Construction Manager.
• Monitor & Control Weld Visual Inspection, PMI for Shop Piping Fabrication.
• Review and approve Inspection/Test procedures for each category of work, prepared by Lead Inspector in charge.
• Attend Weekly Quality Management Meeting between Company, Contractor and Subcontractor to address status and any
issues regarding quality assurance and quality control activities.
• Attend Kick-off / PIM meeting for each new activity start-up between Company, Contractor and Subcontractor, and address
Quality aspects in these meetings.
• Support and liaise with project construction team to enhance the quality by: a) Advising on the adequacy of the quality
control procedures, methods and practices / actions. b) Interpret codes, standards, specifications, and governmental
regulations.
• Ensure timely resolution of any QC problems encountered during Construction and Pre-Mechanical Completion phases.
• Coordinate with NDE Coordinator for shop and field radiography including other NDE works such as DPE, MT, UT, RT etc.
