The developer was enjoying creating their own video game over the fourth week of development. They continued working to finish the game halfway, creating character movements and shooting scenes. This included animating zombies falling down and their heads exploding from headshots. For the final game, the developer created a larger, tougher zombie similar to normal zombies. They aimed to make the zombie designs as scary as those in popular horror games through details like missing body parts, ripped clothing, and splattered blood. Creating the game helped the developer improve their Photoshop skills and feel more confident in video game development.

1. Development Diary –VideoGame – Week Four
At the final week of create video game and I was really enjoying to created my own video
game. I continued to create my video game in half way to finish. I start to create the scene
like a character’s movement and shooting. The zombie’s movement by falling down and
explosion head by headshot. I had some skill about how to zombie fall and I find it very easy.
I selected control and press T on the keyboard and focus on the zombie. I clicked and hold to
move in half way between from stand to laying down. There had a blurry and my tutor told
me had to draw it again but I disagreed with my tutor because if I draw and there will look
messy. I decided to leave it because the zombie will be quick fall down and my audience
won’t notice them. Sometimes I was struggle with movement because when I used timeline
and I made the characters move by clicked twice in each of scene. But some scene had
mistaken by one to two scenes didn’t had move. I must go back the scene where the
mistake is and I start it again to make through careful.
I created the big zombie for the final game. I created big zombie was similar as normal
zombie and only for tall and big zombie to made look hard. Also I love that part of create
zombie’s headless and explosion headshot with splatter because that is really cool dramatic
horror. I drew normal zombie and then headless. I added some blood splatting and pool of
blood for the zombie laying down. I need to little bit more professional with zombie because
I want my zombies look really scared similar Call of Duty Black Ops and Red Dead
Redemption Undead Nightmare because they had look so scared nightmare. In the future I
will make more scared dramatic zombies like armless, some skeletons, hole in the body,
legless and ripped the clothes. I need to more careful with clothes colours from the
background colours because some characters clothes had same as colour as the
background. I was struggled to find the best colour for scared on the zombie. I want the
zombie wear dark and dirty clothes. For example, I put dark brown on the ground and I also
put the zombie’s trousers and they look disappearance because they are same as colours.
So, I decided to put little bit brighter for better to see the character. In the future I will put
different colours between the characters and background.
I feel more improve myself because I have new interesting experience create my own video
game. Now I getting know how to create video game in Photoshop with properly. Last time,
I was struggled but now I get more confident with the Photoshop.
