1. Development Diary – Video Game – Week Three
I was finish with my initial plans, research, proposaland pre-production. I was
relief becausemy work justfinished beforedeadline from last week. Now, I
was ready to start create my video game. I used the softwarecalled Photoshop
because the Photoshop havesome tools to use for create a video game. Before
I startcreate my video game and I used pixel screen because I wantmy video
game are pixels so that’s why I used it. Also, the pixel had shown lines which is
help to draw a pixel. I created my characters, church, graves, gravestones, tree
and cloudy. I had lots of list of character with left and right side because I want
the character walk on the left side and other character will walk on the right
side. I found my comfortable way, I like to watch YouTube called Red Dead
Redemption Undead Nightmare becausethat was help me to imagine how to
the character appearanceand attack the player. I keep watch it and created
my video game make me more confident.
I don’t need the tweening becauseI still struggling it. I decided to new idea and
my background willstay still becausemy main character will hide behind the
gravestone. My character will move to hide different gravestoneand the
zombie will appearance and approach the player then the player will shoot the
zombie. That’s how my new idea from my old video game who have a
tweening. So now my video game look different from old video game. I felt
more confident and no more struggle. I research the internet called DaFont
because I like my title look scared and I chosethe fontlook like zombie’s title. I
selected the font and downloaded it. I wrote my title at beginning and ending.
But one thing problem I can’tuse that zombie font because the font can’t use
on the pixel and I must useMinecraft font because that is have usepixel and
it’s can match on the pixel. I was tolerance it. Next time when I create new
video game and I will use Minecraft font.
My video game had similar to other game called Red Dead Redemption
Undead Nightmare because that game is my favouriteand I was play it all the
time. that game had help me more idea and imagine to create my video game.
That is quite easy for me to create becauseI know I still don’t like video game
which means I can’t idea or imagine my own video game. So, I really enjoying
to create my video game.
