2. PRE-PRODUCTION
Miranda Hart writes and creates the script to ‘Miranda’ then after
she’s wrote up her version she send the scripts to her producers Nerys
Evans and Emma Strain, who look over the script to cut out bits or
add bits.
After this they put idea’s together of what surrounding the scence
could be in.
3. PRE-PRODUCTION
Here they get the cast in to analyse the character’s roles and talk
through the script with the actors.
Parts are cut which are do difficult to do, or aren’t funny enough
for the sitcom, or other parts are added if an actor or somebody else
has any ideas.
The actors then rehearse the acts on the set where the production
will be taking.
4. PRODUCTION
The production takes place in the BBC television studios.
The actors act in costume and hair and make up done with
props, on a stage with a live audience.
A live audience is placed in the studio’s of the main scenes’, such
as in the joke shop, the restaurant and the apartment.
Sometimes extra jokes are added in last minute if they seem
appropriate.
