2. Important things to remember
• 1) Sing out loud
• 2) Sing the whole song no matter what
• 3) Sing to the track
• 4) Don’t have phone and words in the shot
3. Lip Syncing Task Review
• Skills you have learnt?
I have learnt how to use markers to be able to sync all my
footage on the computer. This has made it easier to sync
my footage with the track so it is all sync and matches.
Another thing I have learnt is to sync all my footage then
cut all my footage. In the task we did not do this I have
learnt how to do this and will task this in my A2 project.
From the composition and framing task I have learnt from
looking at my peers lip syncing work how to transfer the
skills we learnt from the composition task and use them
in my filming.
4. What you found difficult?
• For me I found the performing hard because I
am not the confidence in front of the camera.
Also at the start of the task I found syncing
hard but whilst I learnt how to do it I develop
this and improved my syncing skills. Even
though I found the editing process hard at the
start I feel improved this throughout the task.
5. What strategies will you need to
employ when it comes to filming your
own music video?
• Things I would take into my A2 project is what I
learnt from the composition and framing task,
and more filming anything think about all the
different elements and why I want to use this and
if it suits the theme and the song. Also consider
the shots I am using, from examples long shots
are not good when wanting to syncing up. Also
when choosing performer think about if they are
confident as if they are not this make not make
the final video look as good. Also always ensure
the surrounding around the performer finally
they are singing out loud and the track is playing.
