Evaluation 3 - What have you
learned from your audience
feedback?
My survey
 I used esurveycreator.com to create a survey to see what my
target audience (which was set as 18-30) thought of my
products. I created 8 multiple choice questions and 7
people answered the questions during the time the survey
was open. The results are shown in the following slides.
Question 1
 As you can see majority of the audience correctly answered this question with 5/7 choosing hip
hop and the other 2 choosing dance and pop this may be due to the ethnicity of the artist as hip
hop artists are conventionally African American. It could also be down to me wearing head
phones round my neck as this could indicate the artist created the back track making the
audience think the genre was dance or pop. With most of the audience answering the questions
correctly I would say I have been successful in this area.
Question 2
 This question was quite evenly split with 4 people voting for 4 and 3 people voting for 5.
This is not a bad thing as no one thought the products were inappropriate for them as the
target audience. These results show that I was successful in creating appropriate products
for the intended audience.
Question 3
 Again the audience was quite evenly split between 4 and 5 but this time 3 voted for 4
meaning 4 voted for 5 this time. This shows the audience thinks the clothes the artist had
on for the products were appropriate with the majority rating it a perfect 5 out of 5 this
was a strong area.
Question 4
 For this question there was a more mixed bag of results with 3 different categories being
voted for. The majority voted for 4 but more people voted for 3 than 5 and this may
relate back to the first question as they wont feel it appeals to hip hop fans if they weren't
sure if the Artist belonged to the hip hop genre. The fact that the 5/7 voted for 4 or above
is very positive even with 2 voting for 3.
Question 5
 This questions votes were very one sided with 6/7 people voting for 4 and the other
voting for 3. This shows that most of the target audience thought the video was at a good
standard. Due to only 1 person voting for 3 is can be written off as an anomaly.
Question 6
 The results for the digipak are very encouraging with everyone voting 4 or above and 2
people voting 5 which is the largest number thus far. The voting shows that the target
audience strongly approved of my digipak giving me an indication that the digipak will
entice the intended audience in stores.
Question 7
 The larger part of the audience rated the advert 4 out of 5 with only one rating it as a 3.
Theses results from the target audience mean that if youthful individuals saw the advert
they may want to find out more or would be at least interested by it.
Question 8
 The final question had 3 different results with the most giving my overall product an 8
out of 10, 2 people rating it a 7 and 1 rating the overall product a 9. These results are very
promising as not one of the voters rated my overall product poorly and with the audience
only being from the target audience we get a slight insight of what the full target audience
will think about the products.
