The results of this particular question show that on average
there is a higher interest in my genre with males than with
females, however there is not much in it as the results end in a

This question showed
that the age group
most likely to buy my
magazine were
between ages 18 and
22. I believe this is
because these are the
ages of university
students, or young
adults who have just
entered the working
world and buy
magazines for their
commute and travels,
and spend a lot of free
time attending gigs
and concerts.

The response from this
question confirmed to
me that music
magazines are the
preferred genre of
both genders. This
gives me the
confidence to continue
with my project as I
know there would be
interest in my product.

The outcome of this
question shows that I
have a high interest in
the genre of music I
plan on basing my
magazine on, which
shows that I will have
consumers interested in
the final outcome I
create.
6. What colour schemes would best
suit an alternative rock magazine?

The most popular colour scheme in my survey was proven to be
black/white/red, followed by just plain black and white, and so I will take this
feedback on board when it comes to creating my magazine. By having a black
and white colour scheme it will create the impression to consumers that the
magazine is based on having a high amount of content to read, and the use of
one bright primary colour will help to make the content stand out.
