Existing Product Colour scheme is
majority yellow, green
and brown. As its based
in a jungle and they’re
all the colours you see
in a jungle.
When playing you’re
behind the character so
its like you’re the player
and you can see what’s
coming up next.
This game has a monster
coming after the
character so the aim for
it is to try and get away
while going through all
the trees and jumping
over rives.
The lighting in the
game is bright as
its in the day so
its still see when
playing.
The clothing for the
character that he’s
wearing is a shirt and
trousers with a hat.
The props he has is just a bag
across his body.
The music that you hear when playing is tapping
sounds with a drum quite fast paste as you’re trying to
get away from the monster coming after you.
Makes the audience want to play it
because it gets addicting as you want to
get further away from the monster.

Location of the game is
around trains on tracks
and you have to dodge
the trains.
The angle is behind the
character so you're
playing the player so you
can see what’s coming
up in front of you to
either dodge or jump
over.
The colour scheme it has are
mostly, reds, greens and
yellows which are all bright
so it will catch the audiences
eyes by having the bright
colours.
The props you can play with
when you get enough money to
get better equipment which are
a board you can glide on
there’s also a rocket you can
put on so you can fly over the
trains.
The lighting is bright as its based in
the day and so you can see what’s
coming up easier.
The costume he wears as you
can see in the picture its jeans
and hoodie with a cap on.
The music the game has is
a upbeat song makes you
want to play as it sound
friendly.
It will appeal to the audience because of the
bight colours ad the friendly music and hasn’t
got any bad language or offensive stuff in it.

of the characters in the
films lab and they have to
dodge things coming at
them to defeat the bad
person causing them to
jump over objects.
The angle you play is
behind the character so
you can see what is
coming up towards you.
The lighting of the game is
dark but has blue glowing
lights around them to create a
blue tone in the lab they are
running around in.
The colour scheme they
have is majority blue with
a bit of yellow of course
because the minions are
yellow and then green.
The outfits the minion
have on are blue
dungarees
The props they can use are
rockets to fly over things
The music the minion game has
is the theme song for the film so
its fast paste and kind of action
based which is good as they have
to run away from and doge
objects so it goes well with the
game.
It will appall to the audience
because if they enjoyed the film the
game is similar with the music and
then them having to run away.

white shorts and a
yellow top. For the
female it’s a red top
with blue shorts

use are skates
The colours that are in this
game are mostly brown, green,
blue and purple.
The music that is used in this game is
again quite action based, quite fast
paste which makes you want to kind of
panic as its fast so you feel you have to
go fast.
This will appeal to the
audience by the colouring of
it and the music is fun to
play and makes you want to
continue as you can make
silly mistakes so you’ll have
to restart.
Research Analysis
• What common features do the researched products have?
– The common feature in the 4 images are that they all are running games
where you have to run away from something or someone and avoid
anything that gets in your way. They all have colourful scenery to them
which is eye catching which makes people attached to it by the colourful
scenery where if it was plain and dull colours it wont look interested so
people wont be interested in it because of that reasoning. Another
common feature in the games is that you play as the character so you’re
behind the character so you can see what is happening in front of you.
• What aspects of the research will you include within your
on work?
– The aspects that I will include in my work are the colourful scenery as
that’s what would catch my attention to games. Another aspect is
playing behind the player so you can see what is going to happen in
front of you.
