vedere in fotografia).

took place there during the Great War, but also remains linked to the painful

the Cansiglio woods, from the valleys of the Zoldano and other valleys. Precisely for
this reason they created several locality dedicated to the work and storage of timber
along the river and along the tributaries, such as Cordevole (which can be seen in

centomila abitazioni.
On October 29, 2018, throughout Italy a very dangerous perturbation developed, which in our province
created incalculable damages. Whole forests of Comelico, Cansiglio, Agordino and Feltrino were razed
to the ground. The perfect storm, with gusts of wind that nearly reached 200 km / h, left over a
hundred thousand homes in the dark. Fortunately, wood heating remains widespread in the province,
avoiding worse scenarios. Instinctively, the thought of the people of Belluno runs back of half a century
ago to the great flood of 1966, when the Piave and the thousand other rivulets broke the banks and
began a run to the valley dragging everything they encountered along the way.
