this an age where it is normal for teenagers
to have problems with sleeping, whether it
because of eating late or using technical
devices.

Research
Human spend a third of their time sleeping, which is 25 years
The record for the longest period without sleep is 11 days
Sleeping less than 7 hours each night reduces your life expectancy
Lack of sleep can cause weight gain of 2 pounds (0.9kg)
Dysania is the state of finding it hard to get out of bed in the morning
Lack of sleep can cause mental and physical harm to people
These are the types of sleeping problems – snoring, sleep apnea & insomnia
Good sleep is necessary for optimal health and can affect hormones, mood and weight
Why is sleep important? Because sleep plays a big role in your physical health. For example, sleep is
involved in healing and repair of your heart and blood vessels.
What are the dangers of not sleeping? Ongoing sleep deficiency is linked to an increased risk of
heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and stroke.
What is it like not being able to sleep? It can cause accidents, dumb you down, Lead to Serious
Health Problems,
What advice can be given on how to sleep? Limit caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine. Stop drinking
caffeinated beverages at least eight hours before bed. While alcohol can make you feel sleepy, it
interferes with the quality of your sleep, and nicotine is a stimulant.
