2001 to Present Compass Group / Select Service Partner
Assistant Fixed Asset Accountant
I commenced my employment with Compass within the Fixed Asset Department. I continued my role
when SSP was sold to EQT.
Responsibilities include:-
Fixed Assets
Maintaining the fixed asset registers including additions, disposals and transfers.
Post all depreciation journals and prepare forecast and budgets accordingly.
Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for fixed assets.
Posting ad-hoc fixed asset journals.
Ensure compliance with all fixed asset accounting treatments.
Liaise with Project Managers to ensure accurate project status and accruals
Producing monthly fixed asset reports.
Reconciliation of the capital expenditure.
Posting of the monthly capital accruals.
Responsible for National Statistics submissions
Key contact for Fixed Assets with the company’s external auditors

During my time with SSP, I was able to further my skill set by moving to the Accounts Payable

Responsibilities included:-
Supervising 5 members of staff.
Manage the payment processes within the payment terms ensuring uninterrupted
