The BCCS (Billing and Customer Care System) project is a land mark project for Aljawal
mobile business unit of STC (Saudi Telecom Company, the largest Telco Operator in the
Middle East with over 20+ Million Subscribers.) to introduce best in class business processes
and systems based on industry best solutions in order to manage growth and competition.
The BCCS project is aligned with the eTom process framework of the TM Forum.
As Senior Project Manager and Systems analyst, I performed the following tasks and
successfully delivered the BCCS Billing Project:
Managed various key areas of the program such as Billing, CRM, Roaming, and Data
Migration. Responsibilities included Planning and monitoring the overall project
progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective actions.
Ensured adequate allocation of resources and skills in-line with the project timelines.
Developed and implemented new Processes and policies which were essential for success of
the project.
Worked closely with the business partners to define business requirements, identify gaps,
and validate over-all solution architecture.
Reported Project progress at regular intervals to steering committee, and maintained
good relationship with STC at Executive level.
Managed the engagement of Convergys professional and expert services, ensured that all
aspects of the projects were in line with industry best practices and ensured performance
of all end to end transactions.
Validated methodology, tools and procedures applied by the SI to ensure best practices,
