How you save is important too:- Avoid being generic: Untitled1, Paper1, Essay,Englishpaper, etc.- Be Speciﬁc: MacbethEssay12/1/11- You can always organize folders by week or month ifneed be.- Put it in the right folder in the ﬁrst place and you’llalways ﬁnd it there waiting.
Portfolios consist of:- Your best work- Work for presentation of skill (futureresumes/college apps)- Work to show progress- Any kind of multimedia or writing thatyou like that you’ve done.
Collecting allows for witnessing growth. It also gives us something to use on our resume or college applications.
Organization also involves daily habits:- Check your email every pro period- Respond to your emails promptly and enterimportant dates into your Google Calendar- Create folders for each class to organize mail- Check your grades at least once a week- Back up your computer once a month at least
If you click the “# more” button (leftcolumn) you will have a menu that pulls down and choose the “Create new label” option. The “label” is a folder. Click on a Label to ﬁnd all the e-mails sorted to there.
