2. Initial Reaction
• I feel more confident about making a game after doing production
experiments.
• I tried doing an ‘endless running’ game in my experiments, but it didn’t
look good. So I did a matching game experiment which went better.
Although the experiment is different, I still want to make an endless
running/adventure game because it will be more entertaining/ interesting
for the audience.

7. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• The black colours repeat a lot because my game idea is set in space. These
images will help me with designing the background.
• My mood board gives a tense feeling because it’s dark and the characters have
a serious look on there faces.
• Most of the images are dark, but some are light mostly because they got
characters in them which need to be seen.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• I picked images of the Super Mario Bros game because my game has a
similar concept. These images will help me with designing the paths.
Although these images/features are bright, they will need to be dark in my
game as it’s set in a dark place.
• I found images of famous star wars buildings because I’m going to put
something similar into the game

and sound effects. Finish on Friday if it needs finishing. Continue with experiment Powerpoint.
 Thursday 2nd lesson – Start initial Ideas powerpoint. Continue tomorrow or finish over the
weekend if game still needs working on.
 Friday – Finish game if it needs finishing. Finish experiment powerpoint. Continue with initial
Ideas.
 Start Production reflection Powerpoint over the weekend
2 Product Research, Proposal, Planning  Tuesday – Start research powerpoint
 Wednesday – Continue with research powerpoint. Finish over the holidays if it needs finishing.
 Thursday – Write up proposal. Finish tonight if need to.
 Friday – Start pre-production powerpoint. Finish over the holidays
 Write up Production reflection week 2 over the weekend.
3 Production  Tuesday – Make game background in Photoshop, and draw the paths.
 Wednesday 1st lesson – Draw the buildings

 Friday – Draw the weapons.

4 Production  Tuesday – Start making animations in Photoshop.
 Wednesday – Continue making animations
 Thursday – Continue making animations. This should be exported by the end of 2nd lesson
 Friday – Put game into Premiere Pro and add music and sound effects.
 Start evaluation over the weekend

5 Evaluation  Tuesday – Friday – Continue writing evaluation.
 Friday 2nd lesson – Evaluation should be finished. Write up production reflection week 5.
