French : entre voir (means to glimpse or to
see each other.)
Definition:
A face to face meeting between people or
group of people, for the purpose of getting a
view of each other or for knowing each other

1. Be prepared.
2. Make the candidate comfortable
3. Be consistent with your questions.
4. Learn about the candidate.
5. Be conversational.
6. Act naturally.
7. Remain silent for some time.
8. Listen for non-verbal language

• During the interview
• Hand shake firmly or greet them.
• Sit confidently, don’t tilt your head , have
an eye contact .
• Avoid bad habits like
tapping your fingers,
biting your nails,
clicking your pen etc.

interviewee
• If you don’t understand the question, ask
the interviewer to explain
• Be thorough with your answer , never
answer with just a ‘yes’ or ‘no’. Always
provide explanation and example.
• Be honest with all answers, experienced
interviewer can see right through “little
white lies”.

• Respond positively to question about weakness.
• Be positive with your past experience.
• Watch for illegal, unethical question like religion
etc.
• Ask question and show interest about company.
• Avoid question about salary,benefits, vacation.
• At the end thanked them for their precious time
