4. • Omega lap former is winding the lap/batt by belt drive and
tensioning system.

rollers ,four calendaring rollers .
• The winding belt width is similar to the lap .
• the maximum lap winding start of the lap are 120 to 140
m/min and have to be reduces as low 80 m/min as lap
diameter increase.

6. First the empty tube is inserted; two winding
rollers/discs closed pneumatically to secure the tube in exact
position.
7. Belt unit is closed and tensioned the material is fixed pneumatically in
position of tube, the winding process start.
8. The lap/batt wound on the tube at constant speed until full lap
diameter is reached.
9. The machine is stopped, the belt unit opened, the full lap
ejected toward front
