2. COVER PAGE
On the left is my
first draft. It didn't
have enough
conventions of
magazines so I
added more details
such as a barcode,
date and issue
number. I also
added a border to
the main cover line,
a skyline, sub
images and a
strapline.
3. Even after the
added conventions
and details, I didn't
feel as though it
portrayed the rock
genre so I
darkened
everything, changed
colours and added
tattoos to my
model.
4. Final page –
The page didn't seem realistic enough
and I put that down to the layout and
how each aspect wasn’t anchored down.
To anchor them down I used a three by
three grid layout.
5. CONTENTS PAGE
My first attempt of a contents page was a full page image. I felt like it wasn’t
enough for a realistic magazine. I tried moulding the writing around the model,
layering aspects and darkening the whole image but I still wasn’t happy with it so I
created a brand new page.
6. DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD
I didn't have much progress with my double page spread as I had put a lot of
thought and planning into it before I started editing. The only change was the
background behind the article.
