1. Pre production
Don’t get pre production finished Use free time to finish it before deadline
Computer crashes so we can’t get work done Save to google drive or onto and other devices
Lose work due to technical difficulties Reschedule time to be able to take re-shoots
Planning isn’t specific enough Adapt our ideas if necessary to make sure we
get it all done
Production schedule is inaccurate Review it and change imperfections if needed
Production
Unexpected weather – rain, snow Check the weather report on the internet and
use this to plan when we can film, it may affect
the schedule but the footage will be better
overall.
Camera loses battery Make sure before we go out that the cameras
have enough charge but we are filming locally
so we can charge them if necessary
Injury – actors or crew Hire another actor or ask a friend to be in the
advert to replace the actor with the injury, same
applies to the crew, every little helps.
Location is unusable, someone is already there Rescheduled to film at a later date
Props break Try to fix the props or replace it by buying a new
one. Have a backup prop in case so it doesn’t
affect the schedule of shooting.
Equipment is damaged Replace the equipment by buying a new one or
fix the equipment if necessary and you know
how too.
Shot are interrupted Wait until people pass
