A multisectorial scheme is proposed for Guatemala to increase resilience to disasters caused by water such as floods and droughts. The scheme would involve multiple sectors of society, including government, non-profits, academia, and local communities. If implemented, the multisectorial approach could help Guatemala better prepare for and respond to natural hazards associated with its water resources.
