2. Process
For this image I used
the magic wand tool to
take away the
background. This
meant I had a cover
image for my
magazine. Adding in a
faded background just
for depth and to bring
out the image over
black and white.
3. Process
Adding in a title as a layer
under the image this makes
the whole cover look more
professional and well made
than a plain title. The title had
to fit in with the colours just to
insure it stays as clear and
simple as possible to the
viewer. This was done by
getting the text from Dafont
and using it in my own work.
As well as I Copied and pasted
blood effects in to give a comic
book hero / villain vibe and
shows us what types of
characters are on the cover.
4. Process
The next step was adding in
where I was going to put in
the text. This was done by
inserting shapes using the
shape tool. This meant I
could make a speech
bubble that is commonly
used in comics therefor
give a comic vibe and
effect. As well as I copy and
pasted a barcode due to it
having to look like a real
magazine. Meaning I had to
put it in.
5. Process
Finally I added in all
the text where needed
this was done by
getting the font from
dafont and pasting the
text from there. This
kept the comic book
font throughout
therefor keeping the
theme of comic
though out the whole
text.
