I am an ICT professional who enjoys a good challenge and with a great deal of passion for what I do.
I have continuously delivered beyond expectations and am always looking to broaden my knowledge to
learn new competencies.
Through working in a variety of ICT roles and environments, I have developed comprehensive business
experience as I have worked on both the client side where I managed IT vendors and their delivery and also
worked in vendor organizations.
I always look at the bigger picture and like to contribute to the business outcomes where I see my role as a

Responsibilities: I am part of the Infrastructure team that advises the company on new technologies, system
upgrades and enhancements. As a project lead it is my responsibility to ensure projects are
delivered on time and within budget and the systems I maintain are kept current and up to
date.
Due to the nature of my work I constantly work with external suppliers such as Microsoft,
Novell, Symantec, Algenta (USA) and Metadata Technology North America (MTNA). I also
work closely with internal clients and colleagues to obtain the best results to ensure systems
are stable and problems are dealt with in a professional manner.
I have experience in System Centre Orchestrator (SCORCH) using it to automate tasks in
SCOM and in System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) for deploying Windows 10 to
Surface Pro tablets. Other areas of experience include Active Directory, DNS, IIS, Server
2008 R2, Server 2012 R2, Powershell, Windows 7, 8.1 and 10.
• Lead – System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2012 R2
Build, configure and implement new SCOM 2012 environment to replace SCOM 2007 R2
environment. I worked closely with a Microsoft Engineer during the setup of the environment.
Developed and implemented new environment to incorporate Service Level Dashboards,
Distributed Applications, Notifications and Application Monitoring. Responsible for setup
and configuring new requests, troubleshooting false positive alerts, Management Pack testing
and tuning as well as providing monthly and ad-hoc reporting.
• Lead – Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2013 Update 2
Configure and maintain Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for all Operating System
deployments on servers, desktops, laptops, tablets and virtual machines. Configure and
maintain virtual desktop deployments using VMware templates and did a proof of concept
VMware Composer environment. At present deployments are done on domain and non-
domain workstations using Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 using different Task Sequences for a
number of specific builds and make use of PowerShell when specific tasks require it.
• Lead – Application Whitelisting
Researched Application Whitelisting as recommended by the Government Communications
Security Bureau. Created an environment where all workstations copy event logs to a network
share for analyzing to determine which applications must be whitelisted. Successfully
implemented whitelisting into production which prevents the use of any unauthorized
software.
• Lead – Metadata Infrastructure
Built, configured and ongoing maintenance of Colectica Repository, Designer and DataInfo+
externally facing web page for analyzing the company metadata collected from various
sources and surveys.
Manage the new Classification Management System implementation utilizing Government
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

Responsible for the Operating System and deployment aspect of a 2 year upgrade project.
