man murdered his girl-
friend by stabbing her
multiple times with a
knife and then ended his
own life. The incident
took place in the Hasalsar
village under the Gu-
hagaudji police station
area. Late on Friday, Pri-
yanka, 20, was sleeping
with her family at home
when the accused murder
her. Following this grue-
some act, he went to his
maternal uncle’s house
and hung himself from a

implementation of the
land use plan for this area
could only be done after
its publication in the ga-
zette. However, now the
Urban Development

wal, has given approval
to publish the notifica-
tion in the gazette.
With the implementa-
tion of the land use plan,
the comprehensive de-
velopment of this
2,500-hectare area will
be possible. Approxi-
mately 2,000 hectares of
land in Shivdaspura and

others late on Friday night
in Barmer district. An in-
cident has been reported
from the Sheo police sta-
tion area in Barmer. Ac-

police have lodged the

section of the POCSO act.

floods in 1981. Even then, the government had ordered the opening of the gates of the Ramgarh Dam. In the

Dam, which led to the closure of the water supply to it. After the encroachments increased on the Ban Ganga and its

the Atomic Bomb which annihilated Hiro-
shima has raised a debate around the scien-
tist’s understanding of Bhagavad Gita, particularly
with regard to his interpretation of the word “Kaal”.
The word comes up in verse 32 of Chapter 11 when
Lord Krishna reveals his Supreme Being to Arjun
and tells him “Asmi Kaal’’. Oppenheimer interprets
it to mean “I am the Destroyer”. Devdutt Pattnaik
disagrees and says that Kaal refers to time, not death.
Over time everything is destroyed.
After the blast, Oppenheimer said, “If the radiance
of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky,
that would be like the splendour of the mighty one…I
am become Death, Destroyer of worlds.” Questioning
Oppenheimer’s understanding of the Gita on the
groundsofhisfailuretodifferentiatebetweenTimeand
Death is unfair. His description of the radiance of “a

and highly processed foods
lower iron levels in the
body and increase acid for-
mation. Vegetables and ap-
ples have an alkalizing ef-
fect and also aid in keeping
good physical as well as
mental health.
Regular exercise has a
remedial value for those
suffering from diverse ill-
nesses and promotes well-
being in a person who is
healthy. Working at a
steady pace and not going
full speed is beneficial.
Musicians learn to relax if
they have to perform at
their best without undue
fatigue. The same princi-
ple applies for work that
require alertness. Relaxa-
tion provides physical ease
and is conducive to mental
and emotional balance.
Scheduling too much in
a day and being active
every waking moment,
from the time one gets up
until one goes to bed,
weakens health. Taking
regular breaks calms the
mind. Sleeplessness may
be caused by not eating
right, neglecting workouts
or excessive anxiety, feel-
ings of guilt or any detri-
mental emotions. Slowing
down in the evening helps
the body and mind to relax.
Some become frustrated
as they try to manage their
daily responsibilities. The
urge to become angry and
blow off steam can be over-
powering. People generally
learn to express anger by
copying the angry behav-
iour they see around them.
Anger is, also, triggered
when one feels slighted.An
imagined threat to one’s au-
thority or reputation stirs up
feelings of provocation.
Self-centered persons easi-
ly get affronted and may
hold on to anger for days,
weeks, months or longer.
Many believe that if
negative emotions are bot-
tled up or repressed, they
would later resurface as a

saying or doing something
that one may later regret, is

climate commitments,
PM Narendra Modi on
Saturday said that the

target 9 years in advance.
In a video message to
the G20 Energy Ministe-
rial Meeting in Goa on
Saturday, the Prime Min-
ister said India now plans
to achieve 50 percent
non-fossil installed ca-
pacity by the year 2030.
“No talk about the future,
sustainability or growth
and development can be
complete without energy.
It impacts development
at all levels, from indi-
viduals to nations,” the
PM said at the meeting
that brought together
ministers from the coun-
tries in the G20 grouping.
He pointed out that In-
dia is among the global
leaders in solar and wind
powerandismakinggreat
efforts in green growth
and energy transition.
The G20 Energy Min-
isterial meeting is being
held under the chairper-
sonship of Union Minis-
ter for Power and New
and Renewable Energy,
RK Singh. Earlier on Fri-
day, Union minister Sin-
gh said that India has
achieved its target of pro-
ducing 43.6 per cent of
its total energy through
non-fossil fuel sources
nine years ahead of the
schedule of 2023.
The PrM pointed out
that the world looks to
the G20 countries to this
group to advance sustain-

to ensure that the Global
South is not left behind
“We must ensure low-
cost finance for develop-
ing countries,” he said.

New Delhi: Training his guns at Ashok Gehlot-led
govt in Rajasthan, Union Minister Anurag Thakur
on Saturday said that “peaceful and safe state has
become number one in terms of crime against women
in five years.” Thakur’s comments followed a press
conference held by Gehlot earlier in the day in which he
launched a scathing attack on PM Modi accusing him of
not visiting violence-hit Manipur. Hitting back at Gehlot,
Thakur said, “Where has Rajasthan reached in the last
five years? There have been so many incidents of rape
and atrocities against women that a peaceful and safe
state has become number one in terms of crime against
women in the last five years.” Addressing a press briefing
at the BJP headquarters here in the national capital, the
Union Minister said, “A total of 1.09 lakh incidents of crime
against women happened in the state in last four years
and 22 per cent rape cases in India are from Rajasthan.”
Thakur also slammed Gehlot for removing Minister Ra-
jendra Singh Gudha after he criticised his own govt on the
atrocities against women in the poll-bound state.

languages as an optional
medium of instruction as
amajorsteptowardsmak-

tic inclusive. This is an
important reform, he said.
The National Educa-
tion Policy (NEP) as en-
visaged by Prime Minis-
ter Narendra Modi has
emphasised the impor-
tance of education in the
mother tongue, Nadda
noted. “It is scientifi-
cally proven that cogni-
tive learning in the ini-
tial years, is the fastest
in the native language,”
he tweeted. The Central
Board of Secondary Ed-
ucation (CBSE) has
asked its schools to con-
sider using Indian lan-
guages as an optional
medium of instruction to
make multilingual edu-
cation a reality.
Noting that the Minis-
try of Education and the
National Council of Edu-
cation, Research and
Training (NCERT) have
taken measures to intro-
duce education in multi-
ple languages under the
National Education Poli-
cy, 2020, the board asked
its schools to use availa-
ble resources and col-
laborate with each other
to make the best out of
multilingual education.

and big hero of Telugu films Pawan Kalyan
and other lead-
ers. It is another
matter that more
than half of the
parties involved
in increasing the
count in NDA do
not have a single
won seat, but these parties have the ability to
influence the vote count. On the other hand, it
is also true that BJP alone is enough in front
of the new opposition alliance. Apart from this,
the BJP leaders have also made a strategy that
'all the parties included in NDA will be divided
into groups of 10-10 and senior ministers will
be made in-charge and co-incharge of one such
group, who will ensure coordination with these
parties. Whenever the top leadership has to
meet these constituents, they will meet them as
a group, that is, the NDA has geared up to give
an equal answer to the opposition.
SP supremo Mayawati may have kept an equal distance from both the
NDA and INDIA alliances, yet she is busy preparing for the 2024 Lok
Sabha elections from within. Sources reveal that after the Bengaluru
meeting of the united opposition, Mayawati
had a long chat with two of her close confidants,
Satish Chandra Mishra and Uma Shankar Singh in
which ‘Behenji’ specifically expressed concern about
the recent mayoral elections in UP. Maya believed
that ‘her two core vote bank Dalits and Muslims are
also shifting from BSP’. She also feels that ‘in recent
times the trend of Muslim and Dalit voters has in-
creased towards Congress’. It is said that Mayawati
has authorized Satish Chandra Mishra to ‘talk directly to the top leadership of
Congress and find out if there can be a direct alliance between Congress and BSP
in UP? If yes, then what will be the mathematics of seat coordination?

BJP KEEPING DISTANCE FROM CHANDRABABU NAIDU?
n response to ‘INDIA’, the NDA
meeting convened in Delhi was
attended by 38 parties, but
TDP ie Telugu Desam Party’s
absence from that meeting was surprising,
while prior to the meeting TDP re-joining
NDA was almost certain. TDP chief Chan-
drababu Naidu was also singing praises
of PM Modi for the past several months
and he had also held meetings with Amit
Shah and JP Nadda in Delhi. So, it was
believed that Chandrababu Naidu would
again join the NDA in the coming
days. But all Naidu’s hopes were
dashed when the BJP sidelined
him. There is a big reason behind
this. BJP has recently conducted
a comprehensive opinion poll in
Andhra and Telangana and it is
said that after the results of this
survey, the saffron party has
become more alert. The
results of this survey
revealed that the
base of Naidu’s
Telugu Desam has slipped in both the
states of Andhra and Telangana. In such a
situation, BJP did not want to upset Jagan
Mohan Reddy in Andhra and KCR in Tel-
angana for Naidu. While Jagan’s support
in the Rajya Sabha was the BJP’s rallying
cry, KCR has been roped in by the BJP to
breach the opposition’s citadel in Maha-
rashtra, which has a large Telugu-speak-
ing population in the Vidarbha region.
So, bringing a 360-degree change in its
strategy, the BJP declared Chandrababu’s

shared his journey of be-

vealed that he started as
a primary student of
Film Writing and later
took up writing assign-
ments during his MA
studies at JNU to earn

teacher, he realized dur-
ing his PhD that it wasn’t
feasible. After working
for six years in China, he
returned home and re-
sumed his writing as-
signments.
Ajay Bhramatmaj’s
turning point came in
1991 when he got in
touch with Irfan Khan,
who introduced him to
various Bollywood per-
sonalities. At the age of
40, he secured his first
job and today, he en-
courages aspiring jour-
nalists to start a blog. He
mentioned that his blog,
“chawanichap,” has be-
come a valuable asset
where people can read
about various film art-

of stagecraft, particularly

ing different shapes and

the importance of main-
taining balance in stage
composition and ex-
plained the psychology

In the series of Net Theat programs, two emerging young
artists, tabla players Narendra Singh and Ashish Kumar,
mesmerized the audience with their magical finger
movements on the tabla on Saturday. Rajendra Sharma Raju,
from Net Theat, mentioned that tabla virtuoso Narendra
Singh began his performance with rhythmic compositions
like Uthan, Paran, Dhir Dhir Na and Dhage Tite Dhada Tite.
Following Narendra’s performance, the talented tabla artist
Ashish Kumar displayed a jugalbandi with rhythmic patterns
from his Delhi gharana heritage.

The members of Mukesh Fan Club Jaipur organised a
program titled “Jag Mei Reh Jayenge...Pyare Tere Bol” at
Maharana Pratap Auditorium on Saturday. In this event,
a musical tribute was paid to the renowned vocalist late
Mukesh. The city’s music enthusiasts and non-professional
singers like architect Dheeraj Jhamariya, engineer Kishor
Sarawgi, advocate Jay Sharma, engineer Vinod Garg,
Maru Kokila Seema Mishra, and music teacher Mamta
Jha presented musical performances. The program also
featured reminiscences of Mukesh, his musical journey, his

Exhibition “Veer Smriti” from July 22 to July
23 July at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur to
commemorate the supreme sacrifice made by
our valiant soldiers in Kargil War. The event was
inaugurated July 22 by Sushila Sharma, Mother of
Capt Amit Bhardwaj and Santosh Kanwar, wife of Naik Anand Singh, both heroes
of the Kargil War. Shakunthala Raju, Regional President AWWA interacted with the
families of fallen soldiers and honoured them for their contribution to our nation
and the Indian Army. The events associated with the exhibition witnessed a heavy
footfall of families of serving soldiers, students and the local populace.
