Responsibilities Included:
 Provided support in a Microsoft Windows environment for the Enterprise Hosting Services IT organization within
Siemens MED, USA. Specifically providing operational and break/fix support to over 2000 internal corporate servers
housed in the Malvern, PA corporate data centers, as well as performed management of file shares, and provided
technical support to all Siemens MED employees.
 Management of servers in a windows 2000/2003 environment, OS installs and configuration of physical servers, as
well as provided limited server builds in a VMWare environment, and consolidation or retirement of outdated
servers.
 As part of the OS server builds, installed terminal services for remote access, setup SNMP services for network
monitoring, installed trend and latest patches for virus prevention, CA products for software distribution and asset
management; as well as applied latest raid and BIOS firmware releases. Also, maintained OS current patch levels and
certificates on servers according to company policies.
 Entrusted to maintain OS software and patches up to the latest release, and assisted in resolving hardware issues,
such as disk failures and system outages, and provided resolution to network connection issues. Established positive
team work with other IT groups and vendors in order to resolve server hardware / software break/fix issues.
 Selected as the Queue Manager of the company in-house Clarify Help Desk system for the internal server team. In this

domain resources using Active Directory in order to add, delete or move computers within organizational units and
security groups. Utilized active directory and NTFS file permissions to ensure that file security were setup accurately
across multiple file servers and shared folders. Also, allocated disk quota resources on file shares and increased space
as needed.
 Installed and setup FTP sites using IIS, and provided support of all corporate internal print queues by creating new
queues, updating print drivers, and assisted our in-house Xerox team in trouble shooting printer issues.
 Performed key role in the Backup and Recovery of all internal client servers, using Tivoli Backup Client, and Legato
Networker software. In addition, proactively monitored and resolved backup failures.
 Played a lead role in the upgrade of the exchange server project. I was solely responsible of all the enterprise OS
builds for this migration, network configuration, NIC teaming and NIC failover testing. As part of the exchange
upgrade I assisted in the cluster installation, SAN disk configuration, as well as the backup install. I also coordinated
the installation of all network cabling, HBA install and SAN connectivity.
 Served as the remote backup support at our offsite data center located at Siemens MED, Hoffman Estates, IL.
 As a relocation Siemens employee from Iselin, N.J., I was a key player in the successful migration effort when Siemens
MED moved its data center to Malvern, PA. Responsible for the direct involvement in the coordination, planning and
