Mr. Eton Marus is a dynamic, self motivated professional with multi disciplinary academic
background with holistic professional proficiency in the areas of Business Administration,
Entrepreneurship and Enterprise development, Financial Management, Accounting, Marketing,
Monitoring and Evaluation, project planning and management, research and other business
related areas. I am committed to an institution’s philosophy where I am attached. I have always
offered unlimited commitment and cooperation to my supervisors. I can ably and effectively
teach/lecture, examine and supervise research from bachelors to masters.
He is an accomplished scholar and researcher. He is a peer reviewer and a member of European
Centre for Research Training and Development UK. He has made nine publications in
internationally peer reviewed recognized journals, and has received two international awards for
outstanding research publications. He has presented research findings in international
conferences and also attended international conferences. He has a proven proficiency in

 Eton has mentored three (3) academic staff in research and publication area. All these academic

 Eton is currently mentoring three (3) academic members of staff who are expected to publish their
papers in internationally peer reviewed journals soon. Two (2) staff members are currently writing
their research papers.
Curriculum Development

 He participated in the development of Bachelor of Business Science curriculum of Muni University
and spearheaded the development of the Curriculum for Post Graduate Diploma (PGDFM) Program
of Muni University. All these programs will start soon.

 He spearheaded the development of curriculum for Uganda Colleges of Commerce (Aduku, Kabale,
Pakwach, Tororo and Soroti) jointly held at Uganda College of Commerce Pakwach for Dipolma and
