What my ideal target audience is

2. Average person who would read my magazine
From my questionnaire I have concluded my ideal target audience who would read my
magazine:
❖They would most likely be a girl
❖They would be between the ages of 16 to 18
❖She would be any ethnicity but most likely of British nationality
❖They would most likely be from a B,C1,C2 background
❖She would most likely be part of the LGBTQ+ community as rock is all about
equality and being yourself.
❖She would like rock music but particularly Pop Punk bands such as All Time Low
❖My research shows that most people would buy a magazine between the prices of 50p

3. Likes
My ideal target audience would like:
★ Going on the internet especially on
Tumblr.
★ Black Eyeliner
★ Buying clothes and distressing them
e.g. ripping jeans
★ Listening to music through
headphones and thinking about life
★ Playing a musical instrument such
as electric guitar or drums
My ideal target audience would dislike:
❏ Girly things for example flowers ,
fairies etc
❏ The colour pink
❏ Conforming to society
❏ Arts and crafts

4. Stereotypical rock music fan
Stereotypically they would be an angsty, misunderstood person who uses rock as a
way to escape the world. They often would wear dark clothes that have a distressed
look such as ripped jeans or clothes with cut outs. They also will often wear merch
of their favourite bands or dress similarly to the band.They will most likely wear
dark black smudged eyeliner to defy society's ideals of everyone be pristine, perfect
and a natural beauty. They would be into going to more alternative style concerts
where they can let loose and be who they want to be.

5. Pop punk artist example Name: All Time Low
Ages: 27
Nationality: American
They are an American pop punk band from
Baltimore. They started become well known
from their album “Put Up or Shut Up”. It was
released in 2006 with the label “Hopeless
Records”. The EP sold 60,000 copies and
their sucess has grown and grown. Earlier this
year, in April, they released an album called
Future Hearts which sold 80,000 copies in the
first week. They have also won many awards
including Kerrang! Award for Best
International Band. As well they are going to
be going on their Back to Future Hearts tour.
They are most famous for the songs:
Weightless and Dear Maria.

Name: Panic!At The Disco
Ages: 28-34
Nationality: American
Panic!At The Disco (P!ATD) is an
American rock band formed in Nevada , Las
Vegas in 2004.They have made many
albulms which have been a great sucess.
Their most recent albulm ‘Too Rare To Live
Too Young To Die’ sold 84,000 copies in
the first week. Their most famous songs are
Miss Jackson and I write sins not tragedies.
