This declaration expresses our deeply held commitment to research ethics. When
conducting research with people, we commit to the following principles:
1) We will respecthuman dignity
2) We will involve people in researchonly if there is a legitimate justification
for doing so
3) We will carefully evaluate the risks and benefits of the research
4) We will honour the privacy and confidentiality of the researchparticipants
5) We will engage in meaningful post-projectfollow-up to ensure
transparencyand for maximum impact
6) We will report researchresults honestly and accurately
7) We will ensure that all Innovation Lab members and collaborators
engagedin projects involving researchwith people have received
appropriate researchethics training.
