5. 1.1 MUTUALISM
- Two or more individuals are benefit.
- Example: oxpeckers lives on the zebras
sustaining itself by eating all of the bugs
and parasites on the animal.
7. 1.2 COMMENSALISM
- Two living organisms are involved: one is
benefit, but the other is not affected.
- Example: the decorator crabs use the sea
sponges to camouflage themselves. It
provides protection to the decorator crab
without harming the sea sponges.
11. 1.4 PARASITISM
- Organisms of different species where one
of them (the parasite) benefits at the
expense of the other.
- Example: the mosquito feeds on the
human’s blood.
