4. Parts of Slop Boiler
Feeder:
There are two feeder system i.e. Screw and drag chain feeder.
Water wall:
Where the water pipes originates
Super heater:
Two super heaters are used , primary and secondary.
APCD:
Air pollution control device
FD AND ID:
Forced draft and Induced draft.

5. Economizer:
Preheat the water for steam generation.
Air Heater:
Preheat the air to be supplied into furnace.
Chimney:
Outlet from where gas leave the plant and comes into environment.

Wide variety of fuels supported like Bagasse, Rice husk, wooden chips, coal

Familiar technology and easier to operate.
Enhanced up-time:
Continuous ash discharge and elimination of clinker formation.
Complete combustion:
High pressure atomization spray to ensure complete combustion in tall furnace.
Reliable and efficient on-load cleaning:
Steam operated soot blowers for super heater and other convective heating
surface in horizontal pass to ensure cleaning without stoppage.

7. RAW MATERIAL USED
• Liquid effluent (spent wash)
generated from the distillery process.
• Slop (concentrated spent wash)
• Bagasse (left after taking the juice out of sugarcane)
• Wooden Chips
• Coal if available can also be used
