Handicam approach with Taylor filming Casey investigating house.
Close examination of grandfather clock; figures of people etched into
it; filming of its attempted removal by the couple indicate it doesn’t
intend to move. Appears to be not working.
Next day after first night, couple vlog about being woken by the
deafening sound of the clock.
Next night, middle of night, filming takes place as they record having
been woken by the clock. Scraping heard.
Next day, clock has ‘moved’ into living room.
10 nights are recorded, with additional sounds added each night;
scraping, footsteps, pots and pans moving etc…
Decide to record clocks movement in its current room; recording picks
up the case opening, black figure steps out.
More camcorders purchased; invite friends over to help investigate.
Every one leaves at 3am as nothing happens; recording in bedroom
shows black figure over bed as they sleep.
Investigate local newspaper reporting’s about house being haunted.
Final night; arranged séance around area of clock; havoc breaks loose
at 12; handicam dropped, sounds heard but people not seen.
The next morning, house is in ruins, Casey and Taylor gone. New
etchings of two new people on clock.

Justification for your ideas – You need to explain how your ideas link to the genre, task and also
your target audience.
Follows a conventional Horror narrative; paranormal is met by the illusion of spirits and ghosts.
Target audience selected a house and the genre which is being met through the synopsis.
Many people added that handicam and poltergeist activity was the most frightening aspect to them
so I have included these with a focus on handicam to make it seem more amateur and more
authentic and poltergeist activity through the apparent movement of items at random and of their
own will. There is a suggestion of a spirit of some description.
