TEACHING
AIDS
Today's age is the age of science and technology. The teaching
learning programs have also been affected by it.The process of
teaching - learning depends upon the different type of equipment
available in the classroom.
There are many aids available these days.We may classify these
aids as follows-
Visual Aids
Audio Aids
Audio -VisualAids

INSTRUCTIONAL
MATERIAL
Instructional materials are part of the user interface and should be
designed and tested early in the overall design process, along with
the device, as part of human factors studies.
Instructional materials design and development is a process that can
and should start early in product development and human factors
testing.

ICT IN
EDUCATION
ICTs can enhance the quality of education in several ways: by
increasing learner motivation and engagement, by facilitating the
acquisition of basic skills, and by enhancing teacher training. ICTs
are also transformational tools which, when used appropriately, can
promote the shift to a learner-centered environment.

ICT ENABLED
EDUCATION
Contemporary schools have not changed significantly since the 19th
century. What has changed over the years are teaching and learning
tools, but the methods have remained the same.
This paper examines the evolution of education in the context of
information and communication technologies and analyses the
strengths and weaknesses of traditional, school-based education, as
opposed to ubiquitous education based on information and
communication technology, which has not been formally
acknowledged within education systems, but which depends on
effort invested by individuals instead.
It also examines disruptive innovations in education systems that
have a potential to transform formal education processes
dramatically.

ICT
SUPPORTED
EDUCATION
School surveys and reports on integration of ICT in teaching and
learning indicate that the technology is mainly used in traditional
learning environments. Furthermore, the most frequently used
software in the classrooms are general tools like word processors,
presentation tools and Internet browsers.
8. ADVANTAGES
Boost creativity: The virtual world offers many learning tools that
stimulate student creativity: slide shows, infographics, video
creation, etc ...
Higher level of cooperation: Virtual environments offer tools to
create forums or work groups in which students can share
knowledge (social networks, blogs, say, etc ...)
Critical thinking: By having different sources with different points
of view on a topic, we can get a more complete view of it.
Student motivation: Students will be much more motivated
when ICT tools are used in their center
Generation of interest: Allows students to expand knowledge
about those subjects that interest them most.
9. DISADVANTAGES
High levels of addiction: When we talked before learning to use
ICTs and becoming aware of them, we referred among others to
learn to control the level of addiction they generate, especially in
the younger profiles.
It generates isolation: The abusive use of ICT generates less
contact, in the physical world, between people, which is a
handicap for the growth of the person.
They generate greater distractions: In the world of ICT you have
such an amount of information and alternatives that it is very easy
to get distracted, therefore the degree of dispersion increases.
Cyberbullying or harassment through the networks: Without a
doubt a very controversial and rabid topic and one of the biggest
risks of ICT.
Lack of privacy: We are very exposed due to the amount of
personal information we share on the networks, this can lead to
becoming the target of persecution of stalkers.
