3. Assistant Plaza Supervisor
Responsible for daily maintenance and repair of exact change machines, coin baskets.
Responsible for daily removal of cash vaults in all exact change lanes; this needs to be done multiple times per
shift.
Responsible for and also in charge of all toll collector’s while on duty at you assigned toll plaza.
Created monthly schedules for toll collector’s that work at your assigned plaza.
Ordered currency from the bank to keep office safe at its designated amount.
Responsible for the office safe; which can range from $10,000 - $20,000, depending on which toll plaza you are
assigned to.
Banked out toll collector’s daily revenue from their daily collection and then depositing the money bags into the
office safe.
Responsible for making sure that there is always sufficient & mandatory coverage of toll collector’s needed for
each shift, per day.
Notified the state police to dispatch the proper units that are necessary when there are accidents, motor vehicle
accidents, broken down vehicles, etc.
Documented and received reports from patrons when they have a complaint; it can be done either on the phone
or in person.
Responsible for dealing with contractors that are at the toll plaza to do work, closing and opening of toll lanes.
This is to utilize traffic flow and to follow the union contracts.
Responsible for doing payroll for all toll collectors and supervision according to assigned toll plaza’s roster for day.
Responsible for taking in armor car deliveries and pick up of turnpike funds.
Worked with Word and Excel and Payroll System for Turnpike Authority.
Created plaza forms and documents used in the toll plaza that I was assigned.
Responsible for completing all paperwork for the shift that I was covering for the day. Consist of at least 10
different forms and also all toll collector deposit sheets. This is done for every shift.
Responsible for dealing with the patrons with any concerns or problems they were having while driving on the
roadway.
While working as an Assistant Plaza Supervisor I always made sure that all my job duties were performed. I was
always pleasant to my staff and to anyone I came into contact with while I was working. Working at a 24 hour
operation there are times that there is coverage that is needed and overtime occurs, I was always one to work the
overtime no matter what. I would always find something to keep myself busy, whether it was paperwork or walking
the toll plaza to make sure everything was okay outside with my toll collectors and the lanes. Taking pride in my job
and anything I do is something I strive for. Skills that I already have mastered in my old career, and applying them
with the skills that I have gained from my education at UMA, and I believed that I have something great to bring to
the table with a new health care team. In the future I look forward to bringing my new skills to a winning health care
