MACTEC, originally Management Analysis Company, a rapidly growing company through
contract wins and acquisitions, that provides environmental engineering, consulting and
construction services. During my seven and a half years with the company, it had grown from
less than 500 employees to over 4,500 employees, and increased its presence from 13 offices to
over 80 field and administrative offices.
Facilities Manager, 1999-2002
Planned, directed, and distributed job assignments to the Shipping & Receiving Clerk, two Office
Services Coordinators, and two Receptionists.
Negotiated and managed national supply contracts for office supplies, wireless
telecommunication service, shipping and transportation, office equipment sales and service, and
fleet management.
Managed the consolidation of 200 staff from three Denver area offices into one office with
minimal disruption to their operations; including:
Planning the relocation schedule;
Space design for a 60,000 square foot and fully renovated office building;
Integrating three Facilities departments into one cohesive unit; and
Coordinating the work of outside contractors.
Managed the company’s fleet inventory of approximately 300 leased and owned vehicles located
in over 80 locations.
