Corporate Departments (i.e. Finance, HR, Legal, Health & Safety, Procurement).
• Managed the performance of employee and contractor IT Project Managers for moderately complex to
very complex projects (i.e. ranging from $1MM to $50MM in size).
• Oversaw project and portfolio execution management metrics and developed strategies to continually
improve project execution and portfolio delivery success.
• Built strong project management organizational capability to ensure the successfully delivery of project
business value on time and on budget consistently meeting or exceeding an 80% success metric.
• Forecasted IT Project Manager demand and worked to optimized resource assignments by planning
ahead, understanding our resource supply and capability, understanding business project portfolios and
having regular communications with IT Managers.
Senior IT Project Manager 2006-2009

• Led Global Downstream (i.e. Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply &Trading) IT Leadership Team through
a strategy project to align their organization with enterprise IT transformation initiatives and reduce
ongoing operating cost. Project included modifying the IT organization structure.
• Managed Global Downstream IT project to implement new enterprise-wide data privacy compliance
requirements, ensuring all high risk business processes across the globe were assessed for
compliance and remediated as needed. Built and trained global support network to ensure ongoing
compliance.
• Formed and managed the Project Management Office (PMO) for an enterprise architecture program
that developed 5 year IT investment roadmaps for each business segment across Chevron. Oversaw

Leadership Team meetings and worked with Chevron IT CIOs and GM to build strategy alignments.

Manager, IT Change Management Team / IT Learning & Development Team 2003-2005

• Built a new Change Management organization that provided internal consultants to plan and manage
the changes introduced by IT projects. Developed the internal organizational capability needed to
provide this function with excellence.
• Oversaw and managed the merger of two Learning & Development organizations into one Enterprise IT
Learning & Development Function.
Team Lead, Common Desktop Tools Support and Project Change Lead 2000-2003
Chevron Corporation, San Ramon, CA
• Year 1 & 2 - Managed 4 Technical Team Leads and their technical staff as several applications were
being rewritten to meet the needs of the second generation of Chevron’s common desktop platform.
• Years 3 & 4 - While performing the Team Lead role for a team now supporting these desktop tool
applications, I also served on an enterprise program to develop that implement a new lower cost
Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) global sourcing strategy.
o I started as an application SME and led the business case and decision analysis work for some
of the scope applications. My role then expanded to become the Change Management Lead
for this strategic change program.
o In the Change Management Lead role, I coordinated the integration of two new global
suppliers into our IT application support organizations, including application support role
transitions, employee communications and the resulting organizational downsizing.
IT Project Manager 1996-2000

• Managed several application projects including custom development of application tools for Chevron’s
Common Desktop Platform, SAP Business Warehouse implementation for internal IT billing, custom
development of an IT Change Event Management Tool and Network Support Tool, data warehouse for
a Vantive Helpdesk Ticketing System and integration with an IT Service Level Agreements application.
