Director of Business Integration, Deerfield, IL
 Hand selected to the BEST project team, whose goal is to plan and execute the Facility Essential
(formerly Lagasse) ERP / WMS conversion to the Business Essential (formerly United Stationers)
ERP / WMS. I worked on developing training materials, developed and presented change
management training on national calls, currently lead a group of Change Champions who help local
managers navigate change, and lead one team (out of three) that facilitates the operations portion of
individual DC conversions while working with all other functional areas in the company.
 Co-lead the on-boarding of a national retail customer, transitioning the business away from a
competitor. The transition was very successful, so much so, that many elements of the project plan
were adopted by the customer into their SOP for vendor transitions in other categories.
Director of Operations – Central Region, Carol Stream, IL
Responsible for up to 13 distribution operations. P&L responsibility for a $240 million budget. Co-led a
Region Business Team that directed the local sales and ops teams. Scope includes strategic planning,
budgeting, and special projects.
 Fostered a culture of safety – transitioned from being reactive to proactive by emphasizing positive
safety measures that included job safety observations, table top drills, resulting in associate
ownership of their safety. Best in class results as measured by a DART rate of .78 and zero lost time
or restricted time incidents.
 Led a cross functional team that developed and implemented Packaging, Labeling, and Shipping
Requirements for the entire company supplier base. The implementation included supplier
performance tracking with related administrative fees. Since go live, Essendant has collected over $2
million in fees to offset rework and downtime. The team earned the CEO’s ‘Winning from the middle’
award.
 Lean Supply Chain certified from Leancor / Georgia Tech.
 Served as part of a corporate leadership team that defined the corporate Vision and Values.
 Co-led a cross functional team that identified root causes of turnover, and developed a toolkit for the
local DC management teams to use to reduce turnover.

quarterly, and YTD results for financial, productivity, and quality measures.
 Led the project team for four RF system implementations (includes the beta sight), one WMS
implementation, three facility moves, three facility expansions, and one facility startup.

a growing business, that were seamless to our customers.
