As part of our A2 media coursework we had to Create a short-film, as a result we had to come up with script for it.

1. Scene 1
Location: Telegraph Hill Park
Characters: Amber and Shannon
Time of day: Morning
Amber and Shannon are in the park talking, having fun playing on the
swings

2. Scene 2
Location: NewCross Sainsbury alleyway
Characters: Amber and Shanice
Time of day: Evening
Scene begins with Shanice walking through the alleyway, whilst on
her bright pink phone. She stops due to shock as she sees somebody
that she recognises.
Shanice: what do you want?
Anonymous character says nothing
Shanice: you know what whatever, move.
As Shanice tries to walk away, the anonymous character walks into
her and stabs a knife into her stomach. The anonymous character
runs away, as Shanice crouches down.
Shanice: ouch!!!!!
Shanice falls straight to the ground
Scene 2 concludes

3. Scene 3
Location: St Johns Station and café
Characters: Amber and Shanice
Time of day: Morning
Scene begins with Amber at the station waiting for the train, she is on
her phone listening to music (Ella Mai). Her train arrives, she gets
onto the train. Amber arrives at her destination and gets of the train,
she leaves the station.
Shanice is sitting down in a café with a cup of tea, she on her phone
talking to somebody. Shanice is extremely irritated.
Shanice: Ermm, hello my name is Shanice, I was just calling to see
whether you have found a place for me to stay.
Woman on the phone speaks: Unfortunately, at present we do not
Shanice: what do you mean? I’m only 16 I have absolutely nowhere
to stay.
Woman on the phone: Sorry love its protocol, these things take time
you know.
Shanice: What do you mean its Fucking protocol? Don’t you
understand fucking English, I have nowhere to bloody stay.
Woman on the phone: young lady you are going to have to watch
you tone and harsh language. The only way this process can happen
quicker is if you come down to our offices
Shanice: I’ve been sleeping on the streets for fucking five weeks, I
have no money, and you are fucking telling me to come down where.
Are you mad? You are chatting shit.

4. Woman on the phone: you know what that’s it
The woman on the phone hangs up.
Shanice: hello, hello. Ohhh for fuck sake I’m fucking tired of being
homeless
Shanice gets up filled up with anger, she packs all her things, she
notices Amber. Shanice approaches Amber.
Shanice: did you hear anything?
Amber: no I promise you I didn’t
Shanice: I swear to god if I hear that you have told anybody at
college about my business, I’ll make your life a living hell.
Amber: honestly, I did not hear anything
Shanice: whatever, fuck off
Shanice barges Amber and walks off.
Scene 3 concludes

5. Scene 4
Location: college
Characters: Amber and Shannon
Time of day: Afternoon
Scene begins with Amber and Shanice sitting at a table at college
talking
Amber: so how was the concert?
Shannon: it was good you know, me and my sister got home so late
though
Amber: that’s so good, you never guess though, I’ve been receiving
some weird texts from an anonymous person, saying things like I
know what you did last summer, I’m going to let everybody know
what type of a person you really are.
Shannon: really, that so wired, who would do such a thing?
Amber: you know right, I think it may be Shanice, because we had a
bit of an argument last week, and she was quite mean.
Shannon: wow, really it may be her, but it’s not that deep, don’t
worry about it.
Scene concludes

6. Scene 5
Location: college toilets
Characters: Amber and Shanice
Time of day: Afternoon
Amber is in the toilet on the phone to Shannon, as she ends the call,
Shanice walks in. Amber proceeds to confront Shanice about the text
messages that she has been receiving. Shanice gets angry and her
and Amber begin to argue with one another
Dialogue between the two characters in this scene is mainly
improvised.
Scene 5 concludes

7. Scene 6
Location: Telegraph Hill park
Characters: Amber and Shannon
Time of day: Morning
Amber and Shannon are sitting in the park on the skating ramps,
talking about what Shannon did the day before.
Shannon: did you hear about that girl, Shanice? Apparently, she got
stabbed last night, that’s so word, right?
Amber: oh yeah, about that, I’ve got to tell you something
Shannon: what? You’ve been acting so weird
Amber: it was me who stabbed Shanice last night
Shannon: you are chatting absolute shit, you’ve got be joking
Amber: I’m being serious, I snapped she kept on sending me those
horrible messages
Shannon: those stupid texts were from me you murderer, it was a
joke, you idiot. OMG, what we’re thinking? It was not that deep,
what’s wrong with you? What if you knew it was me, would have
stabbed me? I can’t do this
Shannon tries to walk away
Amber: how was I supposed to know it was all a joke, please don’t
leave what do I do?
Shannon: leave me alone you murderer, im not playing any part in
this

8. Shannon walks away, while Amber is left alone
Scene 6 concludes
