2. BLACK SCREEN – SECTION 1
FADE IN:
Emmanuel “Packz” is being chased by a gang lead by Solomon
Through alleyways and shops close to the School. Whilst
Emmanuel is being chased he starts evaluating the situation
and wondering how he ended up in this predicament.
Emmanuel (V.O)
Shit, Shit. These dickheads caught me lacking at the worst
time. How could they have found me, it was months ago when I
ran up in his yard to his stacks. I’ve been staying low-key
ever since, there’s no way they’ve could found what ends I
normally chill at. I know my bro “Slitz” is not a snitch or
will bait man out, so how this could have happened. (20
Seconds)
FADE OUT:
INT. Classroom - MORNING
Emmanuel is in the classroom with Alex whilst the film teacher
is teaching the class about short films and the different
films which will be coming up in their case studies.
Emmanuel:
Yo Slitz, are you gonna help with this shit film assignment
sir keeps chatting about or not.
(Emmanuel notices Alex is laying his head down on the desk)
Emmanuel:
Slitz wake up cuz I ain’t doing this foolishness on my ones.
(Emmanuel punches Alex in the arm)
Alex:
(Slowly Wakes)
What you on about, I’ve been supervising this project from the
beginning.
(The bell rings to signal the lesson has finished)
MR Daniels:
Okay guys, tuck in your chairs under your desks and I’ll see
you guys in tomorrow’s lesson.
3. (Emmanuel gets his coat and bag and goes to leave the room whilst Alex is only releasing
its end of the day).
Alex:
Yo Packz, wait up
FADE OUT:
(Emmanuel and Alex walk through the corridor talking about what they’re doing when
they get home). (25 Seconds)
INT. School Hallway – AFTERNOON
FADE IN:
Alex:
Packz you might as well call me the FIFA King, cuz when I have
Neymar on the ball, I have your defenders panicking on the
wing.
Emmanuel:
You got jokes. Remember that time I peppered you with India.
Alex:
You love chatting breeze you know, when have you ever
dominated me EVER with India.
(Emmanuel shows a screenshot on his phone of the score line)
Alex:
You’re still bringing up the past, how many times I have to
tell you it was my brother on the controller, I was downstairs
taking a shit.
Emmanuel:
Oh yeah it was Caleb on the controller, he does the same
crooked defending you do Allie?
Alex:
Ahhh shut up man.
Emmanuel:
(Starts laughing to himself)
(They both walk outside the school doors). (25 Seconds)
(Emmanuel and Alex do their quick drug deal exchange with their customer). (8 Seconds)
4. (Emmanuel and Alex spuds each other and go home). (4 Seconds)
(Emmanuel goes inside his house and does his normal routine before he goes to sleep). (8
Seconds)
FADE OUT:
INT. Classroom – MORNING / SECTION 2
FADE IN:
Emmanuel:
Slitz, mums if you don’t help me with this assignment right
now…
(The door opens and Arianna walks in, everyone’s attention quickly shifts onto Arianna)
Mr Daniels:
Okay class this is Arianna, she’s a new student who’s recently
transferred to this school and will now be part of our media
class.
(Mr Daniels looks over to Arianna and they both look overto Emmanuel and Alex arguing
with each other)
Mr Daniels:
Arianna why don’t you join Emmanuel and Alex’s group and help
them finish the assignment.
Arianna:
Sure
(Arianna goes to towards them, Emmanuel and Alex notices and stop arguing instantly).
(Arianna sits in between the both of them).
Emmanuel:
Hey, my name is…
Arianna:
I already know both of your names
(Emmanuel and Alex look at each other suspiciously)
Alex:
How do you already know our governments?
Arianna:
5. (She starts laughing)
Sir already told me both your names.
(They all look at each other and carry on working on the assignment and then the bell
rings for the end of the lesson). (30 Seconds)
FADE OUT:
INT. School Hallway – MORNING / SECTION 3
FADE IN:
(Arianna is wondering about the hall way lost not knowing where to go when Emmanuel
and Alex spots her on her own).
Emmanuel:
Yo Slitz look, that new girl Arianna is down there on her
ones, let’s go chat to her.
(Alex put’s a hand in front of Emmanuel)
Alex:
Yo Packz, does that Arianna girl not look familiar to you
Emmanuel:
(He starts laughing)
Yeah you doughnut! She was just in our media class.
Alex:
No you idiatt, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this girl outside of
school before somewhere.
(Alex looks up and see’s Emmanuel has already gone to Arianna to talk to her and get her
contact details).
Alex:
(Sighs)
Yo Packz wait up. (17 Seconds).
(Arianna and Emmanuel chat in the canteen while Alex is on a separate table) (3 Seconds).
(Arianna and Emmanuel continue on the coursework, Alex tries to get involved but I
discreetly nudge him away) (4 Seconds).
(Arianna and Emmanuel walk through the hallway leaving Alex behind. Meanwhile Alex is
still suspicious). (3 Seconds).
(All of the scenes with Arianna and Emmanuel repeat and speeds up) (3 Seconds).
6. FADE OUT:
INT. School Hallway – AFTERNOON / SECTION 4
FADE IN:
(It’s the end of the day and Emmanuel, Arianna and Alex are walking through the
corridor).
Alex:
Packz, let’s go we gotta S bro and do that ting
(Emmanuel takes Alex a side from Arianna)
Emmanuel:
Yo listen, let me drop Arie home quick time and…
Alex:
(Angry Expression)
Why you trusting this random girl all of a sudden?
Emmanuel:
(Looks at him weirdly)
Slitz, why you bugging out for?
Alex:
Listen, I just have this bad feeling about this girl. When I
tell you I’ve seen this girl before she first came…
Emmanuel:
Slitz, don’t worry about anything. You don’t need me to remind
you that no one comes close or in between the both of us.
(Emmanuel puts his arm around Alex)
Emmanuel:
Listen don’t worry about Arie, I’ve almost got her patterned,
I’m just taking her yard quick time and I’ll meet you back at
the drop. Come on bro we still got this.
(Emmanuel spuds Alex and takes Arianna with her heading home)
Arianna:
(Concerned look)
7. What happened back there?
Emmanuel:
(Sighs)
Ohh, nothing important.
(Arianna starts to smile mischievously)
FADE OUT:
EXT. Outside School Shops – AFTERNOON / SECTION

FADE IN:
(Emmanuel and Arianna are walking home, whilst Alex is slowly realising where he first
noticed Arianna from).
Emmanuel:
Is that problem with your brother being released on parole
sorted yet?
Arianna:
The Magistrates in Willesden are still discussing if his
involvement in his crime was still mild enough for him to be
released.
Emmanuel:
Woww man, I can’t believe his boys let him get bagged like
that. If that was Slitz he would have never let that happen to
me.
(Arianna get a text from Solomon and the camera focuses on Arianna pulling out the
phone from her pocket/purse and replying to the text).
(The Scene switches to Alex walking home on his own and contemplating about the
Arianna situation).
Alex (V.O)
Something is deffo off about that girl. Where have I seen her
before?
(Then a scene appears where Alex was walking on his own one day and caught Arianna
talking, laughing and hugging with Solomon near the shops outside school).
Alex:
Ohh Shit, Shit!!
8. (Alex goes to find Alex before it gets too late).
(Meanwhile Arianna is still responding to Solomon whilst talking to Emmanuel).
Arianna:
Emmanuel, these last few weeks of getting to know you have
been amazing. I wasn’t sure at first whether I should have
come to this school but now I’m glad I did.
Emmanuel:
I’m not going to lie, at first I was bit off about talking to
you but now I’m glad we got to know each other better.
(The camera focus on them walking around the corner from the shops towards the
alleyway and Solomon is waiting for him in the alleyway).
(Solomon and his gang appear from out of the alleyway with a smile on their faces).
Solomon:
Yooo Wagwan Packz, what’s good likkle man.
Emmanuel:
(Looks at Solomon in Shock)
FADE OUT:
EXT. Chasing Scene – AFTERNOON / SECTION 5
FADE IN:
Solomon:
So Packz, why you with my girl?
Emmanuel:
(Confused expression)
Your girl, what are you on…
(Arianna moves away from Emmanuel and walks towards Solomon’s Side)
Emmanuel:
(In a discouraging voice)
You played me…
9. (Arianna looks away in disappointment)
Solomon:
(Laughs to himself)
Don’t tell me you, likkle Packz had feelings for someone you
were never gonna getting in your life.
(Solomon and his gang start laughing at Emmanuel).
Emmanuel:
(Clenches his fist and get angry).
So what S.Dot, why are you nerds on my estate.
Solomon:
In case you haven’t notice…
(Solomon pulls out a weapon).
You still owe man p’s nigga and tried talking to my girl.
(Solomon and his gang circle Emmanuel).
Arianna:
(Worried).
Solomon don’t hurt him
Solomon:
Don’t ever say that name again!
(Emmanuel punches Solomon in the face, Solomon drops to the floor and his gang tries to
get him up)
Solomon:
This nigga MINE!
(Two cameras focusing one from behind Solomon and his gang and one from in front
behind Emmanuel before he starts sprinting).
(Emmanuel turns around in desperation and starts sprinting around the corner while
Solomon and his gang chase him whilst shouting).
(Whilst Emmanuel is sprinting, he bumps into his mentor but doesn’t realise it).
Emmanuel:
Yoo, my bad man
(He notices he’s still being chased and continues to carry on sprinting.)
10. (Emmanuel runs to an alleyway to catch his breath and the mentor appears).
Emmanuel:
Wait you’re the guy from…
Mo - G:
Listen, we don’t have much time. Follow me son…
(Emmanuel follows Mo-G)
FADE OUT:
EXT. Outside Shops – AFTERNOON / SECTION 6
FADE IN:
(The scene starts off with the mentor dragging him into a classroom whilst Emmanuel is
still confused what’s going on).
Emmanuel:
Who are you and why did you help me?
Mo - G:
(He goes up to Emmanuel and puts a hand on his shoulder)
Call me Mo-g, listen son this lifestyle you try to live will
only get you arrested or killed.
Emmanuel:
(Emmanuel laughs)
You don’t think I know that already, you really think I don’t
realise that by now.
Mo - G:
No son, I don’t think you actually consider the dark path
you’re walking on.
Emmanuel:
(Emmanuel continues to laughs).
Mo - G:
(Mo-g look at him with great concern).
Have you ever been sentence to prison at all in
your life time?
Emmanuel:
11. I’m not stupid enough to get bagged like does other idiatts
locked up.
Mo - G:
Have you ever seen the inside of a cell before?
Emmanuel:
(Slightly Angry).

Mo - G:
Have you ever experienced near death situations or seen
someone close to you murdered in front of you?
Emmanuel:
Can you stop asking me all these dumb questions, I ain’t
experienced none of that BS.
Mo - G:
I’ve been locked up, I’ve seen my closest die in front of me
and prison isn’t a joke. Prison makes likkle yutes like you
shock in 2 minutes let alone your whole sentence. I’ve been in
cells with guys who killed 4 people before getting bagged.
Emmanuel:
So, what does that have to do with me?
Mo - G:
Listen, I see the route you’re taking and trust me you’ll
regret it further down the line. This lifestyle isn’t bad and
boujee and especially isn’t for everyone.
Emmanuel:
I hear that, I hear that.
Mo - G:
Isn’t there something else you desire to do in life instead of
this nonsense?
Emmanuel:
Yeahh I’ve got a couple of ideas in mind.
Mo - G:
Yeahh, good and make sure you fix up in school.
12. FADE OUT:

FADE IN:
(The scene starts off with Emmanuel walking the hallways on his own. Alex sees him and
chats to him).
Alex:
Yoo Packz wait up.
Emmanuel:
Yo Slitz, what you sayin?
Alex:
Nothing much bro, did you hear what happened to Arianna?
Emmanuel:
Yeahh she left the school.
Alex:
I hate to say I told you so bro.
Emmanuel:
Yeahh I know man, but minor she was a jezzy anyways.
Alex:
Word so what, are we still doing the drop today?
Emmanuel:
Yeahh
(Pauses for a brief moment).
You know what, naa not today, I’ve got other things to be
focusing on.
Alex:
So no drop today?
Emmanuel:
Naa bro.
Alex:
Calmm, I’m going yard. Bless bro.
13. Emmanuel:
Bless bro.
(Emmanuel and Alex spuds and camera focuses on Emmanuel walking out the school with
a different attitude).
