Snow Removal Workers
General Summary:
Now hiring 25 experienced snow removal workers in Macomb, Oakland, Wayne counties and Ann Arbor. Pay is
$11-12/hour based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities:
• During snow removal season, you must be willing to work all hours of the day while on call 24/7.
• Clearing driveways & parking lots with both shovel and/or snow blower
• Applying de-icing/salting materials to walkways/parking lots
• Maintaining a safe work environment
Qualifications:
• Must possess a valid license
• Certified Snow Professional preferred
• Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Test
• 1 or more years’ experience shoveling snow
• Experience in landscape or other skilled industry preferred
• Experience operating a snow blower preferred
• Should have some general knowledge of snow removal techniques
• Must be able to follow directions of the supervisor
• Punctuality and dependability expected
• The ability to lift 75lbs or more throughout the day
• Must be available to respond to work requests 24 hours a day 7 days a week
• Must be able to work for uninterrupted extended periods of time
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to work quickly with quality results is required.
