Technicians
General Summary:
Trenton, Michigan company is now hiring 5 maintenance technicians. Pay starts at $16.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
• Corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial manufacturing facilities
equipment (coolant filtration, mist collection, hoists, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, etc.)
• Work from mechanical and electrical schematics, sketches, manuals, specifications, and written and
oral instructions
• Perform mechanics skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and
hydraulic
• Perform general facility support tasks and project assignments
• Support cross functional teams in problem solving processes
• Utilize computerized maintenance management system to record work activities
• Complete materials purchase requisitions
• Ensure the conformance of procedures and processes
• Facilitate communication between departments, lines and internal suppliers
• Coordinate with production staff for the availability of equipment for maintenance activities
Qualifications:
• Able to work day or afternoon shift
• Minimum Journeyman Card or 2 year electrical / mechanical technical degree
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Industrial HVAC, Industrial Electrician and Machine Repair backgrounds preferred
• The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting. The employee is frequently
required to stand and walk on a concrete surface for 10 hours per day, reach with hands and arms,
stoop, climb ladders, balance body, bend, crawl, and kneel in tight spaces, work at heights and lift
a minimum of 25 lbs.
