3. Quick Eval – The Basics • Quickly highlights items to evaluate
in your courses
• Submissions to Assignment, Quizzes
and Discussions (the graded items in
Brightspace) are displayed in a
sortable list
• Items remain visible in Quick Eval
until feedback has been published
(still appear if they are in Draft
status)
• For Quizzes – only those that
require manual grading and are not
set to “auto-publish attempts
results” appear
4. Customize your Quick Eval
• In Submissions tab, filter and sort by:
• Activity Name
• Date (Last 24 hours, last 7 days, older
than 7 days)
• Course (if using Multi Course Quick
Eval)
• In Activities tab, filter and sort by:
• Activity name
• Course (if using Multi Course Quick
Eval)
• Switch into Multi-Course Quick Eval or
hide and show dismissed activities with
the ellipses in the top right
5. Suggested Workflows
• Navigate to Quick Eval tool
• View Quick Eval by Activities
• Click new posts to be taken to a list and iterate through only new, ungraded
discussion posts

is blank for quizzes with a
combination of auto and
manually graded questions
• Utilize “Dismiss until…” to
organize your Activities list

Otherwise, when the student finishes, the quiz will be marked as graded. You going in and manually grading those written response questions will essentially be re-grading it.
